Bio

Hello! Do you believe as I do that education should conform to the needs of the students, not vice versa? As a tutor, I have the ability to meet the needs of students through individualized feedback. I encourage all of my students to think critically about their work and approach each problem with creativity, while still meeting all the standards required from their class. As a young and passionate educator, I have a knack for connecting with students. I support students with clear, consistent communication with both the students and their guardians. As a kid, I felt out of the norm and I had different educational needs than my peers. With individualized feedback and a crazy amount of hard work, I learned German and dedicated my life to meeting those educational needs that might not always be met in a typical classroom.

Teacher Specialization

I have degrees in science, arts, English, public speaking, and education. I've tutored both online and in-person at a university-level (about 3 years) and have also spent some time with small group literacy education in grades K-5 (1 year). I spent one year substitute teaching all grades K-12 but absolutely loved English lessons at all levels. Finally, I wrapped up my student teaching with AP English classes at a high school level.
