Bio
My teaching philosophy is that learning should never be boring! We can have fun even if we're struggling with the material, challenges are what make us tougher! We can incorporate your interests and hobbies into the lesson, whether it be music, sports, art or video games! Having taught in schools across NYC and Long Island, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of students from grades 6–12, each with unique learning styles, language backgrounds, and reading levels. I’ve also tutored for several families with students in grades 3–7, supporting them in English, Social Studies, Spanish, and Science. I’m passionate about working with children and believe in educating the whole child, helping them grow not only academically, but as individuals as well.
Teacher Specialization
I have a Master's in English Education grades 7-12. I have taught English and Social Studies to grades 6-8, English and Honors English to grades 9-12, and tutored children from grades 3-7. My goal is to make you feel more confident in the classroom and to help you be proud of yourself!
