Bio
Hi! Hola! My name is Emily Rincon. I enjoy watching movies, book clubs, going for walks and staying active. I am a Bilingual certified Texas teacher which means I can speak and can teach in Spanish. I am excited to meet you! I believe that all students learn best when they feel safe, supported, and genuinely valued. Every learner brings unique strengths, experiences and ways of understanding the world, and my role is to meet them where they are and guide them forward with patience and clarity. I believe students thrive when instruction is personalized, purposeful, and connected to their interests. By breaking down complex skills into manageable steps, modeling strategies, and providing opportunities for guided practice, I help students build competence and confidence. My educational philosophy centers on building positive and meaningful relationships, fostering curiosity, and nurturing a growth mindset.
Teacher Specialization
I have 20 years of teaching experience across different grade levels and in different capacities. This is my 3rd year at K12 as an Emergent Bilingual Case Manager where I have served at different K12 campuses at the high school, middle and elementary school level. I am Bilingual certified EC-4th teacher as well as certified in SPED K-12. I have taught in K -4th grade in either a self-contained classroom (all subjects) or a departmentalized Reading/ELAR classroom. In addition, I have experience as a 3rd - 5th grade Reading & Writing Teacher Instructional Coach. My graduate degree is in Educational Leadership and Administration. I am excited to teach and learn alongside you!
