Bio
Hello! I am so excited to introduce myself to you. I am an experienced educator. I have taught music, Chinese and math for over 25 years. I love listening to music, watching Chinese dramas and movies, and traveling with my family. I believe students learn best when their individual needs, interests, and abilities are addressed through differentiated instruction. Every student has the capacity to learn and grow. Learning should be engaging and enjoyable. My teaching goals include clarifying course content, preparing students for assessments, and developing effective study habits. My strategies to build relationships with students include greeting students by name, making time for casual conversations about their interests, actively listening to them, and celebrating their individuality and achievements. I am motivated to become a tutor for the love of Chinese language, math and music. I have the desire to help students succeed and to make a positive impact on lives.

I am a certified teacher in the State of Oklahoma, holding credentials in both Mathematics and Mandarin Chinese. My interdisciplinary teaching style combines analytical thinking, artistic expression, and cultural appreciation, creating a rich and engaging learning experience for my students.
