Bio
Hi! My name is Haley Ward. I love chasing my children to their various activities that they compete in. During my downtime (when I have some), I enjoy reading, puzzle type games, baking, and watching my favorite tv shows! As a teacher, I love nothing more than making connections with students to help them unlock their fullest potential! Through online tutoring, I want my students to feel empowered and take control of their learning. I want them to know mistakes are ok and we can grow from them! Making connections with my students is one of my top priorities! Once students feel safe and valued, learning comes easier!
Teacher Specialization
I have been in education for 10+ years. I received my bachelor's degree from Tarleton State University (Go Texans!) in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have taught early childhood all the way to 8th grade. I have taught math (regular and advanced), reading, social studies, science, and leadership classes. Making connection with my students allows me to help them learn the best way possible. I love helping students recognize that they CAN do whatever they set their mind to!
