Bio
Hi Students! My name is Miss Dyer and I'm excited to help you with sharpening your reading and math skills! I enjoy all things creative. This includes playing guitar and piano, singing, writing poetry, and dancing. The visual arts I enjoy are drawing, painting, clay, paper arts, and fiber arts. I love interacting with students and appreciating each student's personality. My tutoring style is very supportive and encouraging. I enjoy helping students reach their full academic potential. As a tutor, I will provide the guidance and encouragement you need to do your very best! I live in Alabama with family and several cats. I enjoy getting out in nature, playing guitar, and talking with friends. I would be honored to meet with you to help you reach your educational goals or to explore learning new skills in art.

My teaching experience includes over 15 years of in person teaching and 5 years of virtual teaching. Subjects taught include English, Math, Visual Art, Music, and ESL. My tutoring experience includes ELA, Reading, and Math for grades 1-8. I have a Bachelor of Science in Art and a Master of Education. My teaching credentials are in Art and ESL.
