Welcome to my profile! My name is Itasha, better known as “Ms. Forbes” in the world of Education and I am so glad to meet you! I am a proud alumni from the University of South Florida, “GO BULLS”!!! For those that are familiar, you understand my BULL excitement. For those that aren’t….HURRY, you aren’t too late to learn! I have a personal love for Math and numbers. When I am not indulging in numbers with my students, we are exploring the world through Social Studies, investigating the fields of Science, and soaking up vocabulary via Reading. Whatever subject poses a challenge, I am here to help. If you are willing to learn, I am willing to take you to the “A” you’ll deserve. Let’s get there together!
Teacher Specialization
I have been in the education field for a total of seven inconsecutive years. Five years I taught Adult Professional Career Training. This is my 2nd year in Public Education. My academic background comprises of a M.B.A. and 2 bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance. My Teaching Certificate in education comprises of both a Business Education and Elementary Education endorsement for grades 6-12 and K- 6 consecutively. Subjects I am certified to teach are Reading, English Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science, and Business Education.
