Bio
I have been teaching for 22 years in the special education field, and currently teach for Destinations Career Academy of Colorado for the last four years. I earned my bachelor's degree from Illinois State University in Special Education and a master's degree in literacy from Dominican University. My philosophy is simple; provide instruction that takes into consideration individual learning preferences and styles and differentiating to meet student needs. There are a hundred different ways to teach and learn new concepts while holding to the fidelity of academic rigor and standards. Building relationships with students is equally important to create a foundation built on trust and respect.
