Bio
Hello, my name is Mrs. Johnson! I'm excited to get to know your child and guide them through any educational challenges they may be facing. I would love to help them reach their educational goals, whether they are struggling with one particular topic and just need a little help grasping it or they would benefit from regular sessions as they continue to progress through the year. I believe the best way for a student to understand and retain information is based on an underlying interest in the subject. As their tutor, I will relate what they are learning to their real life or something that interests them, as well as make the process as FUN as possible! I have an amazing husband, wonderful daughter (3rd grade), two rowdy dogs, and a sweet old cat! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and experiencing new things!

In addition to being a 1st grade teacher, I have over 1,000 hours experience working with K-6 students in all subject areas. I am familiar with what students are taught in each grade level, which allows me to help them better understand what is expected of them in their current grade level. I received my bachelor degree in 2017 where I graduated summa cum laude!
