Bio

Hello! My name is Deborah Albano! My love of teaching started at the early age of 10. I love bringing new experiences to my students. I love helping my students to achieve that AHA! moment with a course they have been struggling with. I love connecting with students around the world, learning about their culture as they learn about mine. I am a patient, kind, understanding teacher who would love to connect to your student and help them on their journey!

Teacher Specialization

I began my teaching career in 2000. I was a classroom teacher for grades 3 through 6 for the first four years. I then went on to get my Master's Degree in Special Education. I taught students with learning disabilities, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury, to name a few. I was a Learning Disabilities Specialist for 13 years. Since 2017, I have been an online and in person tutor. I tutor students learning English for the first time, and those who struggle in the areas of Reading and Mathematics.
