Passionate, life-long learner, who thoroughly understands the power of education as a bridge to a future filled with phenomenal possibilities. As an educator, this world-view shapes my belief in equitable academic outcomes for all students, regardless of economic or social station. I seek, in all that I do, to reach, teach and connect with the "whole student" and help them aim for and achieve their best with excellence.
Teacher Specialization
I currently hold a B.A. and MS Ed. - with content specialization in English Language Arts and ESOL. I have taught and tutored students from kindergarten to college in English Language Arts, the Social Sciences, Test Prep, Special Education and English Language Development. With sixteen-plus years of experience in diverse learning communities I am most passionate about educating and serving students with varying learning differences and language proficiency needs.
