Bio
I am a current third grade teacher that loves all things ELA! Creating a positive and welcoming classroom environment, in person and online, is a priority for me. I believe students learn best when they have a positive relationship with their teacher, are encouraged, aren't afraid to make mistakes, are having fun and are given constant feedback. Setting ambitious goals and reaching them is something I strive to do with all students. While tutoring with me students will gain confidence, stamina and perseverance. I look forward to the possibility of teaching and tutoring your student.
Teacher Specialization
I specialize in English Language Arts. My areas of expertise are phonics, spelling, grammar, writing, comprehension and vocabulary. I also specialize in teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Finally, I have many years of experience in teaching elementary math in grades 1-3.
