Hi there! Are you ready to learn more about how the world behaves? I’m John. Teaching physics has been one of my joys in the past 10 years and I am very excited to share it with you! I highly value making mistakes as a natural and valuable part of the learning process. I believe that this will pave the way for students to be more comfortable, participating, and lifelong learners. As a physics teacher, I am a fan of interactives and simulations. I like explaining abstract concepts and connecting it to real-life situations where students can easily relate. Teacher Specialization
I hold a bachelor’s degree in education with majors in Physics and Mathematics, as well as a master’s degree in Physics education. I also hold a California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Physics and an English Learner Authorization. I have more than 10 years of experience teaching high school physics. During that time, I also have experience teaching mathematics and physical science. Over the years, I have delivered virtual instruction through various online platforms and learning management systems. I am comfortable using a wide range of educational technology tools to create interactive, well-structured, and accessible learning experiences, especially for abstract concepts in physics and mathematics.
