Bio
I am a retired Florida mathematics teacher. Through my time in the classroom and as a tutor, I have come to believe students need the time and space to personally master math concepts. I help students learn by asking guiding questions and providing the needed teaching and practice opportunities. I value tutoring because students are able to ask questions, clear up misconceptions and learn proper math processes.
Teacher Specialization
I taught math in public high schools for over 15 years and have an active teaching certificate through June 2028. I have been a tutor for students from kindergarten through college during the past four years. My tutoring assignments have been both remote and in-person. I have the most experience with Algebra, Geometry and SAT math preparation.
