Bio
Hello! My name is Dr. Sarker. It’s nice to meet you! My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I teach chemistry, biology, middle school math, and elementary Spanish using clear explanations, real-life examples, and interactive practice to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. Whether you need help strengthening fundamentals, preparing for tests, or getting ahead, I will guide you step-by-step and provide clear explanations, practice opportunities, and helpful feedback. Together, we will build strong skills in science concepts, math problem solving, and Spanish vocabulary and conversation. Teacher Specialization
I have over 10 years of experience in education across research, classroom teaching, tutoring, and curriculum design, including more than 5 years of virtual education using LMS platforms and digital learning tools. I have taught elementary Spanish, middle school math, life science, and physical science, as well as high school chemistry, biology, and general science, including teaching science at a private online school and volunteering online to support middle grade math learners. I hold a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, and a B.Sc. (Honors) in Chemistry, along with a Virtual Teacher Specialization from the University of California, Irvine. I also have experience working as an online Science SME and curriculum designer. I support middle and high school science, middle school math, and elementary Spanish, helping students with homework, test preparation, concept review, and skill building while supporting diverse learning needs.
