Bio
My name is Kaitlin Jones, I love to read, hike, and garden, and am always outside exploring new places with my own 2 littles at home. When I am not teaching or tutoring I like to cook, bake, and work outside in my garden. A fun fact about me is my whole life my birthday has fallen on Spring Break! As a tutor, I like to have fun during sessions, laugh, and help students feel successful. Small wins make for the Great Learners. Chances are you are here because something is challenging - I want to create a space where you learn and have fun!
Teacher Specialization
I hold a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education. I hold a Master's Special education k-12 mild to moderate disabilites. I specialize in phonics instruction and emphasize the foundational skills in mathematics. I have been a virtual teacher for the last 4 years. I have taught Special Education for the last 7 years, specializing in Academic Learning Disabilities. I taught General Education at the 3rd grade level for 6 years.
