Bio
I believe students learn through strategy and support. I combine fun, relatable ideas, and educational strategy with achievable goals. My goal is to help students build strong academic skills while fostering critical thinking, confidence, and creativity. I am deeply committed to supporting each student’s growth and guiding them toward lasting academic excellence. build positive and meaningful relationships by showing genuine care, consistency, and respect for each student’s individuality. I create a supportive and inclusive environment where every learner feels valued, seen, and encouraged to reach their potential. I love to sing and I learned to speak Spanish while working with English Learners.
Teacher Specialization
I have worked in education for over 11 years, teaching and tutoring students from kindergarten through college. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities with an English concentration and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I am certified to teach English and ESL for grades 6–12 and am trained in the Science of Reading. My experience includes supporting diverse learners in literacy development, academic writing, and English language acquisition across a wide range of grade levels.
