Hello! I am Kellie Woodson, and I specialize in personalized, student-centered tutoring that helps learners build confidence, master challenging material, and reach their academic goals. I believe that every student learns differently, which is why I customize each session to suit each student's unique learning style, pace, and needs. Whether you're aiming to improve in-class participation, ace quizzes/tests, or prepare for state standardized tests or AP Exams, we’ll work together to create a strategy that gets results. From our first session, I’ll help you clarify your academic goals, identify your strengths, and target key areas for improvement. My approach goes beyond memorization—I focus on building critical thinking skills, self-discipline, and academic independence so you can succeed long after our sessions end. In addition to tutoring, I enjoy exploring new recipes in the kitchen, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family.

I provide virtual instruction to Middle School and High School Science students. I have taught Science for 25 years and am certified to teach Middle/High School Science in New Jersey, Tennessee, and Virginia. I have taught Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, AP Bio/AP Env Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. I received my B.S. in Biology, TSU; my Masters in Science Education,NYU; my Educational Specialists Degree,Virginia Tech. I am highly skilled at tailoring instruction to fit every student’s individual learning style.
