Hi! My name is Kim Smith. I am currently certified for Secondary English and am working on a Masters of Education degree in Online Instruction. I have a passion for writing instruction as well as reading instruction. I believe both of these skills are essential for students and adults. I am available for homework support, tutoring in both writing and reading, and overall tutoring to improve and close any learning gaps in these areas. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Teacher Specialization

I have been teaching for 21 years total and 4 years online. I've taught mostly in middle school with some experience in high school. I have a BS in English and a teaching certification in Secondary English. I'm also currently working on my Master's Degree in Education. I have experience teaching reading and writing and believe that all students should have a solid foundation in both of these areas before heading to high school.
