Hi everyone!!! My name is Kim Herrington and I believe every student has the ability to achieve their educational goals. They need a teacher who believes in that possibility every day, who helps nurture it and to see it grow. I am that teacher! I currently live in Florida with my husband and our rescue furbabies. I have taught in person for 18 years and online since 2019. I love spending time with family, traveling, and spending time outside in our beautiful sunshine state. When not traveling, I enjoy working with my students ensuring they are excelling in their academic needs.
Teacher Specialization
I have 20 years of experience as a teacher in the classroom. Teaching experience: K-6 certified in the State of Florida, 9th-12th grade ELA, AVID, and Test Prep. I was an Adjunct Professor at our local university. I have 7 years of experience assisting my Juniors/Seniors in preparing for their post-secondary careers and college goals. Working with students online is something I have done for 4 years, and I try to make it as engaging as possible to ensure my students find learning enjoyable.
