Hi! I’m Kristen Bottstein, a proud mom and grandma to two wonderful grandsons! Outside of school, I love spending time with family and friends, visiting Disney parks, cruising, and photography.
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching for over 30 years of k-8 experience holding a master's degree in education with a focus in literacy. I have also taught five years in an online setting, working with students in grades 1, 3, 4, and 7. I have also worked extensively with students of all abilities, including those with special education and behavioral needs. This experience has allowed me to develop strong skills in virtual instruction, student engagement, and digital classroom management. I’ve learned how to build meaningful connections with students and families remotely while delivering high-quality, standards-based instruction. Teaching online has deepened my flexibility, creativity, and commitment to meeting each student’s unique needs, no matter the learning environment. My goal is not only to help students meet academic benchmarks but to instill in them a lifelong love of learning. I want my students to leave my classroom feeling empowered, capable, and excited about their futures.
