Bio
Hi, my name is Kristy DeHart. I am excited to be here to help you with your academic needs! My educational philosophy is that every student has the capability to learn and is deserving of an education. Some tutoring goals I have include helping students reach their full potential academically, being a great resource for students, and making sure students feel safe and comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes. I will build relationships with students by greeting them with a smile and warm welcome and letting them know I am here to help them be successful.
Teacher Specialization
My teaching experience includes teaching 3rd graders (24 to 1 ) for 5 years. During that time, I was responsible for teaching all subject areas to include ELA (reading and writing), Math, Science, and Social Studies. I hold a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credentialed. This type of credential allows me to teach K-6 graders in all subject areas. My background has prepared me for this role because I have taught many different types of learners and know that all students do not learn the same way.
