Bio
I'm Laura and I have been married to Beto for 16 years. We have 3 children ages 14, 11, and 7, and all have been homeschooled since preschool. I am a CA native and my husband is Guatemalan, but we met in Honduras where we lived for 5 years. Now we live in Tennessee! I believe that students should love to learn and be life-long learners. I believe that there are multiple ways to learn. I like to make learning fun with games, songs, and interaction. I teach Spanish using the immersion style and comprehensible input.
Teacher Specialization
I've taught elementary through high school for over 17 years. I hold a bachelor's of liberal arts and in Spanish. I believe my background has best prepared me to be a great tutor because I have taught multiple types of learners and in various settings including inner city, upper class, in California, Honduras and Tennessee.
