Bio
Hi there! My name is Lauren and I am beyond excited to work with you. I believe that the best learning takes place while having fun. My goal is for every student that I work with to feel comfortable and confident. We will do activities that build your understanding in a supportive and encouraging environment. I will cheer you on as you master new skills and build up your knowledge. I often use quick assessments throughout the session to check your understanding, give opportunities for questions, and guide instruction. I aim to see students exceed their own expectations and goals. I know that if we both bring our best, incredible things will happen.
Teacher Specialization
I am an experienced educator who has had the pleasure to work with students from kindergarten through 4th grade. I hold a bachelors degree in elementary education with a bilingual endorsement. Also, I have won an innovative teaching award as well as first place in the teacher competition for ugliest sweater.
