Bio
I have been a teacher for almost 20 years. I taught in the classroom for public schools for 17 years and then left the classroom for online tutoring. I enjoy the impact I can make with small group tutoring and one on one tutoring. I enjoy working with a variety of students and helping them find confidence in their learning. I try to encorporate skills in a fun and engaging way by using interactive materials and games when possible.
Teacher Specialization
Through my years of teaching I have always had the inclusion classroom, so I am familiar with working with varied exceptionalities, as well as ESOL students. I believe all students can learn, it is just a matter of figuring out how they learn best and working from that perspective. I have worked with several online tutoring companies, including Carnegie Learning and Class Dojo, as well as having my own tutoring business. I work with different companies to engage with different student opportunities and levels of support.
