Hello everyone! My name is Lisa Brown, and I am a passionate and enthusiastic teacher with a love for knowledge. My love for kids and education brought me into the world of teaching six years ago, and I have loved every second of it. I know the power knowledge holds, and it is my mission to pass this wisdom of wealth onto the next generation. I enjoy working with a diverse group of students and using their strengths to build up their areas of improvement. My favorite subjects are Reading and Writing, but helping students be successful in any subject is quite the reward. When I am not teaching or tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets, working in my garden, reading a good book, or doing anything in nature. I look forward to learning and growing with you.

Teacher Specialization

I have my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Master's Degree is the Art of Teaching. I am certified to teach general education Pre-K through 6th grade. I have six years of experience as a 4th grade teacher. I have worked in the brick and mortar setting as well as virtually. I have taught Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. I am comfortable supporting students in multiple grades and subjects.
