Bio
I am a certified educator for grades Pk-5th with almost 30 years of online teaching experience. Yes, 30 years online! I know, that's a lot! My passion is teaching diverse learners and making learning F-U-N, fun! I build strong reading foundations utilizing the Science of Reading principles, and I have extensive experience supporting students with various learning challenges. I bring joy, reliability, and a firm, supportive environment.
Teacher Specialization
I am certified in Pk-5th grade, and I have a Master's in Educational Leadership. But I specialize in working with students who struggle with reading. I also have extensive experience tutoring English language learners. I've been honing my skills for over 10 years, tutoring students with special needs and those considered at-risk youth. I excel at helping learners who think they "can't do it". These students motivate me each day. Supporting diverse learners is MYJAM!
