Bio
My husband, 2 daughters (2 and 4 years old), and I live in Missouri. I love staying home with my daughters while being able to tutor to be able to still help in the education field. I chose to be a tutor to help those students who learn better with one on one help and then can apply it in the classroom. Each student is unique and I believe in meeting students where they are, respecting their unique needs, and developing personalized plans and goals to help them progress. I aim to help students achieve not only their academic goals, but also show applicable life concepts from education. My goal is to give students all the tools they need to be successful not only in the classroom, but also in life.
Teacher Specialization
I have 4 years of teaching experience and over 8 years of tutoring experience. I have experience with teaching 4th grade as well as tutoring students from Kindergarten to 5th grade. I have an Elementary Education degree with an emphasis in Special Education as well as a masters in Reading.
