Hi! I am Ms. Maryann Mazzoli and I can't wait to help you achieve in every way! I can help with the Foundations of Reading as well as comprehension and writing skills, using interactive activities and fun lessons. I also love learning math and want to be sure that you do too! My goal is to help children love learning by engaging in meaningful, appropriate activites . I get to know my students while they get to know and trust me. I encourage questioning, curiosity and critical thinking in a positive, constructive atmosphere.
Teacher Specialization
With 37 years of experience in education-including 33 years in brick and mortar classrooms and the past 4 years in remote tutoring-I bring a deep understanding of how children learn and grow. I specialize in K-6 Reading and Math, with a Master's degree in Reading Education and certification to teach Nursery -6th grade in public schools. My experience as a building classroom teacher and a remote tutor for the past 37 years helps me design lessons that are enriching and effective. I'm so glad I can continue to tutor children of all ages and abilities!
