Hello! My name is McKenzie Vaughan. I am a passionate and innovative Language Arts and Social Studies Educator. I have skills in creating engaging data driven standard-based lessons and making all content relatable for students. A couple fun teaching facts about me are that I have studied abroad and have taught middle school theater! I am committed to instilling a growth mindset and natural curiosity in all students. I want to encourage all students to find their passion and purpose! I look forward to supporting my students to the best of my ability and helping them succeed.
Teacher Specialization
I have been a teacher for 3 years brick-and-mortar and virtual! In schools and with stride I have taught middle school Geography, English, Theater, and World History. I also worked with a 1:1 school where I gained more experience tutoring and working 1:1 with students. There I taught courses like high school history, government, and middle school English, in addition, I worked on developing skills like reading and writing skills for all ages.
