Hello! Helping students discover their strengths and build confidence is what I love most about teaching. I believe every student can succeed when learning is engaging, supportive, and tailored to their individual needs. My goal is to help learners strengthen their literacy skills, develop critical thinking, and feel confident tackling new challenges. Building positive relationships is at the heart of my approach, and I strive to create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking academic risks, and celebrating their progress. Every session is designed to be interactive, encouraging, and meaningful so students leave feeling successful and motivated to keep learning.
Teacher Specialization
I have 10 years of experience teaching and supporting students in grades K–12 in both traditional classrooms and virtual learning environments. I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Reading Endorsement, and a master's degree in Educational Leadership. My experience includes classroom teaching, reading intervention, small-group instruction, one-on-one tutoring, serving as a reading coach, and educational leadership. I specialize in literacy instruction, including reading comprehension, vocabulary development, fluency, writing, and differentiated instruction. My online teaching experience focuses on creating engaging, interactive lessons that meet students' individual needs while building confidence and academic success.
