Hi! I’m Megan and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a dedicated teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching students around the world—literally! I’ve taught in international schools and traveled to more than 50 countries, and I bring that global perspective into every lesson. I believe students learn best when they feel safe, supported, and challenged in just the right way. I create a positive learning environment that encourages questions, celebrates effort, and builds confidence through meaningful feedback and individualized support. As an athlete, I know the power of persistence, and I bring that same energy into my tutoring sessions - always encouraging, always focused, and always responsive to your child’s needs. In literacy, my focus is on phonemic awareness, phonics, word recognition, and decoding. In math, I guide students through early concepts such as number sense, patterns, shapes, and measurement using interactive tools, purposeful questioning, and real-world applications. I speak Spanish and support multilingual learners by integrating language development with foundational skill building to promote growth in both content and communication. All students in my classroom thrive because instruction honors their starting points, builds on their strengths, and supports their growth with purpose and care.
