Hi!! Need an ELA tutor who can make reading and writing enjoyable? That’s me! I mix humor, energy, and solid teaching experience to help students feel confident and capable! My personality is warm, fun, and a little quirky—I love to make learning feel alive and enjoyable. Whether we’re breaking down a novel, polishing up an essay, or building confidence in English, I try to create lessons that are meaningful and full of energy. For me, the best part of teaching is forming real connections with my students and helping them see how much they’re capable of. I’m excited to get to know you and make our time together both productive and fun!
Teacher Specialization
I’m certified in English Education (7–12) and hold a master’s in TESOL. I am licensed to teach in the states of New York and New Jersey. Currently, I am working toward a second master’s in Special Education. I’ve been in the education field for seven years. My first four years were in a classroom, and the last three have been in a virtual setting. I have had the pleasure of working with students in grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12. I have worked with a wide range of diverse learners, including English Language Learners and students in ICT settings. I specialize in helping students prepare for standardized tests such as the ELPAC and the Regents.
