Bio
My name is Miosotis Ramos. My philosophy is that every child can learn and grow. I believe in the growth mindset philosophy where students are more than capable to learn and grow. I believe in every child that is placed before me as a student to learn academically. My tutoring goals are to accomplish what my students have set out as academic scholars. I build my relationship with students by creating a safe platform where students can ask questions and students can grow and learn. My learning environment is a safe learning environment.
Teacher Specialization
My specialization is in literacy. I have over 20 years of teaching experience. I have a Masters degree in education with over 80 credits above my Masters degree. I have extensive experience and educational studies in best practices in teaching literacy. I have taught grades K- 6 including Bible and Art. I have been an intervention specialist for grades K-2; and 1-5 grade ESOL as well as 6 -8 as well as taught grades 7-12 ELA to the college level. I have taught online for the passed 5 years grades K-college level. Teaching for me is a joy and a pleasure.
