Bio
Hi, I'm Molly, and I believe every student's learning journey is different. I aim to provide a learning experience that meets the unique needs of each student. As someone transitioning from educator to the Ed Tech world, I am excited to become more creative, and tutoring a diverse population will also widen my experience. I believe it is important for students to feel safe and loved when learning. If a student feels stressed during lessons, then they aren't learning. One of my biggest goals while teaching was to create a space where students were excited to be every day! I graduated with a bachelor's in Criminal Justice, but once I started subbing, I fell in love with students and teaching, and within 8 months, I was certified to teach. I love to read, and because of that, I want students to fall in love with reading as well.
Teacher Specialization
I have taught for the last four years, I have taught Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade. Each year, I taught a diverse group of students from general education to 504, ESE, and ELL students. I have also implemented tier support to many students, from one-on-one support to small groups! In August, I graduated with my Master's in Education Technology and Instructional Design. With this degree comes new skills that help me support students in varying ways!
