Bio
Professional Bio – Nadine Frye I am a seasoned educator with over 40 years of teaching experience dedicated to inspiring students and cultivating a lifelong love of learning. I have served in diverse educational roles, including five years in special education and five years as a gifted educator, bringing expertise in meeting the needs of a wide range of learners. Recognized for my excellence in teaching, I was honored as one of the Top 3 Elementary Teachers of the Year in her parish. I am also a proud member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and hold a Master’s Degree in Literacy and Language, Magna Cum Laude status. Her teaching philosophy centers on educating the whole person, believing that true education develops both the mind and character. With a commitment to leaving lasting legacies, Nadine fosters classrooms where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.
Teacher Specialization
As a tutor, I bring to you an extensive educational background and a love for teaching. I have 40+ years in the areas of elementary, special, and gifted education. Five years in special education, six years in gifted education, 19 in elementary education (all subject areas). Included in those years are 5 years of virtual education as a teacher and writing coach (grades 1-12). My Master's degree is in Literacy and Language Development (Grades 1-8) specifically the Science of Reading: phonics, phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. I have extensive experience in Grades 1-5 elementary education, special education, gifted education, and state test prep.
