Bio
My name is Sabah. I am a certified mathematics educator with a Professional Teaching License. I have had the privilege of teaching students in grades 5 through 12 and have four years of in-person high school teaching experience. I am also a passionate tutor dedicated to helping students build confidence and excel in mathematics. I use engaging, student-centered tutoring strategies that have helped many students strengthen their understanding and improve their academic performance. I look forward to supporting each student on their journey to success. Every student learns differently, and I believe in tailoring my approach to meet each individual needs. By assessing a student's current skill level and learning style, I create a customized learning plan that addresses their specific challenges while building on their strengths. I incorporate interactive activities, integrate technology and real-world applications to make learning both relevant and fun, which enhances understanding.
Teacher Specialization
I have four years of in-person high school teaching experience, during which I taught Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra II. I have also taught Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 at the middle school level. In addition, I have several years of experience working as a Professional Substitute Teacher in middle schools, which has given me the opportunity to teach a wide range of mathematics courses and adapt to diverse classroom environments. Additionally, I have almost six months of online tutoring experience.
