Bio

As an educator, I believe in the power of connection, curiosity, and creativity. Learning should never feel intimidating it should spark joy and a sense of discovery! I strive to create a supportive, positive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and proud of their progress. My background in bilingual education helps me bring a global and inclusive perspective to my teaching, and I love weaving in art, storytelling, and real-world connections to make each lesson come alive. Outside of tutoring, I find inspiration through travel, painting, and spending time at Disney experiences that remind me of the wonder and imagination I hope to bring into every learning moment.

Teacher Specialization

I have over 10 years of teaching experience in general education, bilingual, and dual-language classrooms. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development and a master’s degree in Creative and Innovative Education from Georgia State University. Throughout my career, I’ve taught a wide range of grade levels from preschool through 2nd grade in both English and Spanish and have also taught beginner Spanish specials for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. I have experience teaching both in-person and online, including adapting lessons for virtual learning during COVID. I enjoy integrating hands-on, inquiry-based STEM practices into my lessons to spark curiosity and critical thinking at every grade level. My teaching style blends creativity, structure, and cultural awareness to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences for all students.
