Hi! I’m Rachel Sanders, and I’ve been teaching math for 5 years, with 4 years of virtual teaching experience. I believe every student can be successful in math when they feel supported and encouraged. My teaching philosophy is to meet students where they are, build their confidence step by step, and show them that math is a skill they can grow with practice. I would describe myself as patient, positive, and encouraging. I enjoy celebrating progress, no matter how small, and helping students discover that they are capable of more than they thought possible.

Teacher Specialization

I specialize in mathematics, with 5 years of experience teaching middle and high school students. Most of my background is in Math 8, but I also support other middle and high school math courses. My focus is on breaking down concepts into clear, manageable steps and helping students build confidence in their abilities. With 4 years of virtual teaching experience, I’ve developed strategies to keep online learning engaging, interactive, and supportive. My goal is to help students strengthen their skills and feel prepared for future success in math.
