Howdy - I have been a Special Education Teacher for 13 years. Prior to teaching I was a Psychiatric Social Worker and Creative Arts Therapist. I live in South Carolina with my dog Macho. I enjoy reading, hiking and nature. My teaching philosophy is person-centered education. It is my goal to understand each student’s unique goals, challenges and needs.

Education: B.A. degree in Behavioral Science from Wilmington University, Delaware M.Ed in Special Education from Wilmington University, Delaware Experience: I have taught Special Education at all levels for 13 years (elementary, middle, high school). I have specialized in children with autism, intellectually disabled mild/moderate children with specific learning disabilities and ADHD. Virtual teaching experience: I have 2 years experience of teaching virtually to Special Education students.
