Bio

As a teacher, one word describes me: COMPASSION. I am currently a resident of Sedona, Arizona. I moved here from New Jersey in 2019. I love celebrating my students' successes. My favorite subjects to teach are all subjects for students with learning disabilities and any kind of history curriculum; Ancient, World, US etc. Teaching has always been a wonderful, challenging and rewarding experience for me. My greatest reward is watching my special needs students reach goals and celebrate success in learning. feel that I am very proficient in engaging students who have difficulty with learning, hence my extensive experience with mild to severely learning disabled students. I am a certified teacher in multiple subjects in the States of New Jersey and Arizona. I began my teaching career in 2007 after a long career in a family business.

Teacher Specialization

I have been a teacher since 2006, primarily focused on students with disabilities, although I have experience as a general elementary and middle school teacher as well. I am certified as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities, Social Studies K-12, and Elementary K-5, by the State of New Jersey and Teacher of Students with Disabilities by the State of Arizona. I attended Kean University, Nathan Weiss Graduate School of Education earning 24 graduate special education credits in 2007.
