Bio
Hello! I’m Teacher Richee, and I’m excited to partner with you on your learning journey. I believe every student can succeed when learning is personalized, strengths are celebrated, and challenges are met with patience and encouragement. I have served as an Elementary Subject Coordinator, helping design curriculum aligned with national standards and mentoring fellow teachers. I’ve also taught students in the Philippines and Japan, supporting diverse and multilingual learners. My goal as a tutor is to foster academic growth, curiosity, and confidence. I build strong relationships by creating a warm, safe, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and celebrating their achievements.
Teacher Specialization
I have over 14 years of experience in education and more than 3 years of experience in virtual teaching. I specialize in online tutoring for elementary and middle school students (K–8). My areas of focus include Math, where I support foundational skills, problem-solving, and concept mastery. I also teach English Language Arts (ELA), helping students improve reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. In Phonics and Early Literacy, I focus on decoding, fluency, and confidence-building. I provide ESL/English Language Development support in reading, speaking, listening, and writing. Additionally, I teach Computer Skills, promoting digital literacy and safe technology use.
