Welcome to my Bio! I'm here to help you learn to read, write, and speak well. I believe class should be enjoyable, and teachers should connect with students. I always start class with a fun assignment, like a quick Wordle game. I'm passionate about students learning and doing well on their assignments! My goal is to help students understand that they can do well as long as they are willing to put the time and effort into the assignment. I can help unlock your ability to do well in your coursework. I show respect and expect respect in return, and I look forward to helping you!
Teacher Specialization
I've worked in education for over 15 years. I've taught English to non-native speakers and regularly teach English courses to elementary, middle, and high school students. I specialize in English reading, writing, and literary analysis. I hold a master's degree in English from Texas Tech University. I'm also a certified SAT and ACT English instructor.
