I am a Reading Specialist, and have been correcting reading problems for many years. I have a Masters in reading, have been trained as a reading coach in scientific based reading strategies, and also in Reading Recovery. I use diagnostic prescriptive reading to diagnose the reading skills that are causing your child to struggle, then creating specific lesson plans that target the deficit areas and fill in the skill gaps. I have used this technique for many years with great success. The lessons are fun and engaging, but targeted. I have taught first,second,third,and fourth grades in regular classroom settings. I tutored kindergarten, first, second, third,fourth, and fifth grade students in all subjects. I have done reading intervention with groups of up to 5 students in reading in grades K-3.
