Bio
My name is Sharon Marusiak; I live in NE OH with my husband and son, who is 19, and my two fur babies (Irish Shortie Russell Terriers): Brea and Rylee. Fun fact: my son graduated form OHVA, a K12 school, in 2022 with a high school diploma and an Associate's degree from Kent State. I believe students learn best from a personalized educational format. I like to approach tutoring from a personalized and relevant point of view. When tutoring, I like to make sure students not only understand and grasp concepts related to the topics of science they are studying, but also to their everyday life. I pride myself on making learning fun and engaging for all, so learning is no longer a chore, but something students look forward to.
Teacher Specialization
I have been in education for over 23 years. I have taught all levels from middle school to college level courses thus all ages. I have a BS in Biology (John Carroll University), an MA in Biology (Kent State University) and an OH Integrated Science teaching license. I have taught biology, human biology, anatomy & physiology, chemistry, environmental science, earth science, and chemistry as well as health and wellness courses, nutrition courses and genetics courses at all levels.
