Bio
Hello! I’m excited to support students in their learning journey. I bring experience as an educator and counselor‑in‑training, but what truly shapes my teaching is my life outside the classroom. I’m a mom of four, living in beautiful Colorado Springs, and I grew up in Arizona where I developed a lifelong love for sunshine and the outdoors. I believe learning should feel both challenging and joyful, and I bring that same spirit of adventure into my sessions. Whether we’re working on reading comprehension, writing, or math fundamentals, I use creative, interactive strategies that help students feel confident and capable. Just as I encourage my own kids to explore, ask questions, and grow, I love helping students discover their strengths and build resilience. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me hiking local trails, enjoying time with my family, or soaking up the outdoors. I look forward to inspiring your student and helping them thrive academica

I taught 4th and 5th grades, as well as 7th ELA. I worked with students in the ELL program. In addition to teaching, I have run small groups to teach social-emotional skills to K-12. Experience in college & career guidance.
