Bio
Hello, my name is Shea Ronson. I was named Beginning Teacher of the Month, created curriculum at a county level, and have spoken at the NC Social Studies Conference. I love focusing on reading and comprehension to help students work on their ELA skills. My goal is to help students become proficient in social studies and current events.
Teacher Specialization
I have taught for 5 years in the classroom with one of those years being in a virtual setting. I have my Bachelors in History and MAT in Social Studies Education. I have been fortunate enough to have taught U.S. Government for two years, World history for two years, and U.S. history for a year. I pride myself on combining social studies and ELA to help students grow in both areas and be an all around successful student. Additionally, I have experience working with ELL learners and finding creative ways in order to support their academic learning.
