Welcome! My name is Ms. Cherelus and I'm so happy you're here! I have over 10 years of experience as a licensed educator to which I've had roles as a classroom teacher, Reading Coach, and Reading Intervention Liaison. Throughout my experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work with learners from diverse backgrounds. I specialize in providing personalized support in reading and math that builds confidence, strengthens skills, and fosters a genuine love for learning. Each session is tailored to meet each student’s unique learning style and academic goals. Whether it’s mastering foundational skills, preparing for tests, or developing stronger study habits, I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel empowered to succeed. I have been teaching professionally since 2015. I have my Bachelor's and Master's in Education along with endorsements in Reading and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). I specialize in teaching both reading and math to students in grades K-8.
