Bio
Hi, I am an educator that loves to learn and I believe that learning can happen anywhere. I believe students learn best when they are able to connect with the content. I aim to help students overcome the academic challenges that they may face. I want to help student grow from one level to the next. Any time I work with students, I strive to build positive and meaningful relationships. I aim to make all students feel welcome and heard. I am fluent in Spanish. I enjoy traveling and reading a variety of books.
Teacher Specialization
I have 19 years of experience in education. As a teacher, I have 16 years of experience working with all grade levels. The bulk of my teaching experience has been working with middle and high school students. Through my time in education, I have taught English as a Second Language and English Language Arts. My degrees are a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Master's of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Working with many students has prepared me to be a good tutor and teacher.
