Hi! I'm Ms. Traci, your fun & passionate tutor. I believe that learning should be fun and purposeful! As a teacher in an elementary school in Southern Nevada and an experienced online tutor, my goal is to help your child succeed by making learning an enjoyable adventure. My philosophy is to use engaging, rigorous teaching practices to not only boost grades, but also to help foster effective citizens later in life. I strive to make connections with students and develop a realationship built on trust. In my soare time I love to listen to music, go to concerts, and deejay. I also love to spend my time in Southern California with my family.My approach is simple: We will celebrate every success and make sure to share tips so you can continue the learning at home. I am also a proponent of growth mindset and the belief that anyone can learn anything with practice. I can't wait to help your child reach their full potential!

Teacher Specialization

I have a Bachelor's degree in American Studies and History from California State University, Fullerton. I have a Master's degree in Early Childhood from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). I also have an endorsement in Library Media Specialist Education from UNLV. I have experience teaching algebra, Kindergarten, first grade and K-5. I've been teaching for over fifteen years in Southern California and Nevada. I have a deep understanding of what makes young learners tick. Currently, I'm the Librarian and Computer Science teacher at my elementary school, so I’m well-versed in both foundational skills and modern technology. I'm especially passionate about reading instruction, math, and coding. I have also been an online tutor for over five years with another online tutoring company.
